If you are looking for a nice place to dine to celebrate a special occasion, hang out with friends or family, or just to go somewhere with a nice view, I definitely recommend trying Branch & Bird in Fort Worth, Texas. With a sky lobby on top of Frost Bank Tower, Branch & Bird has a variety of tasty options for everyone. They offer meals in the categories called shareables, farm, sea, ranch, and, of course, sweets. The interior is decorated in a modern style. On the ceilings above the seating areas are metal decorations that look like honeycombs. The room is dimly lit, making for a nice, romantic evening. I had the opportunity to celebrate an early Valentine’s Day dinner with my boyfriend on their rooftop patio and we enjoyed a beautiful view overlooking the city. Selecting from the dinner menu, I chose roasted chicken with sauteed vegetables, while my boyfriend ordered the baked salmon. We had an appetizer of hummus with pita bread and vegetables as we enjoyed a beautiful pink sunset from our bird’s eye view. As night fell, downtown Fort Worth looked amazing with all the buildings lit and twinkling. It was a peaceful dinner where we could enjoy each other’s company and the meal in front of us. When I got my dinner, I really enjoyed the taste and texture of the roasted chicken. The portions are plentiful with two large pieces of chicken. Although, if you are still hungry and in the mood for a tasty treat, I recommend trying the chocolate peanut butter pie. It is cold and delicious with strawberry syrup drizzled on the bottom of the plate. I plan to go back and try their lunch specials as well. Monday through Friday, you can enjoy specialties from eleven o’clock in the morning to two-thirty in the afternoon. On this menu, they offer some good deals each day of the week. For their regular lunch menu, they have a variety including salad, flatbread, pasta, BLTs, tacos, grilled cheeses, sandwiches, chicken, paninis, and more. Branch & Bird also has live music on Wednesdays from five to eight o’clock in the evening. It’s always nice to listen to a good singer while enjoying a delicious meal. Additionally, the restaurant has music on Saturday’s from 6:00-9:00 in the evening. For a unique dining experience, head on over to Branch & Bird!
