Gemelle by Hayden Ferrari

Are you looking for an exciting new restaurant in Fort Worth to spend your weekends watching the TCU football games? Well, Gemelle is the perfect Euro-American restaurant to hang out with your friends while eating delicious homemade pasta and pizza. The restaurant opened on May 29th, but it is slowly becoming a Fort Worth favorite after TCU students have returned for the Fall semester.

The owner and chef of Gemelle, Chef Tim Love, is famous in the Fort Worth area for his skillful and flavorful food. He is the owner of many Fort Worth restaurants, including the TCU favorite, The Woodshed Smokehouse and Lonesome Dove Western Bistro in the Stockyards. Though he is commonly known for his western cuisine, Chef Tim Love wanted to create a Euro-American restaurant that encompassed a playful atmosphere while providing delicious Italian food.

The menu includes antipasti, salads, and homemade pasta and pizza. The current Fort Worth favorite dish is homemade lobster spaghetti paired with the delicious antipasto, roasted garlic and parmesan breadsticks. This menu is perfect for large groups who want to share a variety of pastas and pizzas for their meal. Chef Tim Love told the Fort Worth community through his promotional Instagram post, “This project is dedicated and inspired by my girls — they’re such vibrant young women, and we wanted the menu to reflect the femininity and playfulness. I hope I make them proud!”. Try their mouth-watering antipasto, crispy ricotta stuffed squash blossoms, and their tasty cannoli for anyone who has a sweet tooth.

The daily specials include:

Monday: Lasagna, Eggplant Parmesan

Tuesday: Venison Porchetta alla Amore

Wednesday: Chile Rubbed Lamb Chops, Gnocco alla Romano

Thursday: Grilled Octopus with potato salad, olives, and pancetta aioli

Friday: Housemade Sausage and Clams with cockles and garden herbs

Saturday: 42oz Bistecca alla Fiorentina

Sunday: Pork Osso Bucco, 3-Bean Ragout

Not only is there a wide variety of Italian cuisine, but the restaurant also includes a back patio for dining and a garden where Fort Worth friends and family can hangout all-day. The backyard garden includes a large LOVE sign with small lawn tables that have festive orange umbrellas. This area is perfect for pictures and enjoying a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Along the side of the lawn are cabanas with comfy lounge chairs, overlooking the garden and bocce ball court. At night, the backyard area is lit up through decorative lights, including the illuminated LOVE sign. Gemelle is the best spot to hang out with friends and family on the weekend and a tasty place to dine on the weekdays. Come enjoy Chef Tim Love’s delicious Italian cuisine on the back patio while children, adorable dogs, and young adults spend their Saturdays and Sundays lounging in the cabana chairs and playing bocce ball. Gemelle is located at 4400 White Settlement Road. Come check it out!
